Value for money is very good
Unfortunately, some rooms got very run down, a pity, as the hotel would have potential.

The location is ideal for a holiday in the Chianti region. It is half way between Siena and Florence on a hilltop surrounded by tuscan views. It is close enough to Radda so you don't have to eat at the hotel restaurant which is not at all special. The architecture is very nice both on the inside and on the outside. Although it is clearly a modern building they kept the traditional stone exterior and the terra- cota tiles and wooden ceiling for the interior. The furniture was also very nice made out of real wood no substitutes and in a original authentic style.
On the downside the breakfast was one of the worst me and my wife ever experienced. In a such a gourmet region like Tuscany one would expect much more then: a single type of ham (the most ordinary supermarket type), a single type of salami (also very poor quality in region renowned for it's salamis), very bad onlet (the bottled or eggs type which we found strange in the countryside hotel), no vegetables whatsoever, some fruits, some mozzarella (but without any cherry tomatoes or basil or olive oil it was also tasteless). Also the service for the breakfast was unlike the service for the hotel. Everyday there were tables which were not cleaned in time so you had to stand and wait for someone to clean them in order to be seated, there were either plates, or glasses or forks there were missing so you also had to wait for them to be refilled.

Internat acesss excellent
Hotel is essentially package holiday hotel. Very poor value for money. Room was small and shared with family of large millipeeds. Does not live up to the website description. Room had no view. Was booked for a week but left after 2 days. Staff very unhelpful. Breakfast was poor quality food in short supply. Overall a bad experience - avoid this hotel.

The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. The hotel was very clean in all areas. Very enjoyable!
Our first room (I believe was 222) was very cramped and uncomfortable, After we relocated, it was much better. There were many empty pots around the property and I felt if they had been planted with flowers it would have enhanced your beautiful hotel so much. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice place in the heart of Chianti, with nice view on the hills!
the restaurant was a little expensive regarding what you get

This hotel has a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere and the staff were absolutely superb. We were particularly impressed by the night manageress who was good at English and who was a huge help to us during our stay. The hotel is situated at the top of a mountain with virtually uninterrupted 360 degree views of Tuscan countryside. On many occasions I found myself in awe of my surroundings. It was a fantastic venue from which we were able to commute to the Mugello round of Moto GP. We will return.
Like any holiday hotel, there are the inevitable noisy party goers turning up in the early hours of the morning.

the location
the food ( the restaurant ) / limited and poor service at the pool / drinks at the bar not always cold ( the white wine ) / terrace restaurant at the parking lot
